County governments are uniquely positioned to be leaders in the juvenile justice field and have a dramatic impact on the lives of their young residents, families and the broader community. These case studies detail how five different counties have enhanced their juvenile justice systems, protected public safety, used resources more effectively, and improved outcomes for youth and families. The five counties highlighted are: Outagamie County, Wisc.; Sedgwick County, Kan.; Tulsa County, Okla.; Ventura County, Calif.; and Wayne County, Mich.
