West Valley School District (Spokane, WA) Community Truancy Board Evaluation

This report describes the implementation and effectiveness of The West Valley Community Truancy Boards (WVCTB) which are designed to engage truant youth and their families in a restorative-justice oriented setting using resources from the community; ultimately resulting in graduation. The evaluation was also completed in order to prepare for possible replication of the efforts in other school districts on Spokane County. Containing both qualitative and quantitative data, this report compares educational outcomes for West Valley youth compared to other school districts in Spokane County.
