The Juvenile Indigent Defense Action Network is a Models for Change-supported effort to engage leadership in targeted strategies to improve juvenile indigent defense policy and practice. Action Network members — attorneys, judges, policy makers, and others working on juvenile indigent defense issues in the four Models for Change states, as well four new states yet to be identified — will convene annually to exchange information on best practices and develop strategies to reform juvenile indigent defense systems. They will have the opportunity to ask questions, receive technical assistance, share techniques and materials, and become involved in strategic innovation groups targeting specific areas of reform.
