Models for Change Success: Redeploy Illinois

In high poverty and high crime cities like East St. Louis, Illinois, teenagers have many opportunities to make bad decisions, and second chances with positive outcomes can be rare.  One of those wrong decisions nearly sent Curtis Warner to prison and a precarious future.  But a judge, a prosecutor and his family saw potential for change, and the Redeploy Illinois program offered Curtis a second chance.  Curtis made the most of this opportunity and today is on a very different path, thanks to the program and the people in his new, stronger support network.  Curtis Warner shared his story with Models for Change, and we want you to hear it, too.
