The Rapides Parish District Attorney’s Office is evaluating model diversionary programs across the state and country to find an evidence-based program that is best suited to meet the needs of the children of Rapides Parish and Louisiana. The office is also working to create a Neighborhood Accountability Board in Alexandria that would handle the punishment of some minor juvenile offenders.
