Local sites and partners

In-state grantees who have a vital stake in improving each state's juvenile justice system and ultimately carry out the reform work.

Models for Change supports public agencies and organizations, and private statewide advocacy groups.  The initiative also partners with agencies and units of local government, and provides direct support to demonstration sites modeling best practices in Models for Change states.  In Pennsylvania, the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (www.pccd.state.pa.us) has been a very important financial partner in the Models for Change initiative.   For example, as noted below, PCCD funded four out of the five aftercare pilot sites.
